  • Preheat oven to 400*. Place chicken drumsticks on a sheet pan covered in foil. Prepare barbecue sauce by mixing in a small bowl chili sauce, honey and mustard with a fork. Salt and pepper the chicken on both sides. Using a brush, brush on the barbecue sauce on both sides.
  • Roast chicken drumsticks in the oven for 45 minutes to one hour or cook outside on the grill. Every 20 minutes brush on additional barbecue sauce on both sides. Brush on a final coating of sauce the last five minutes. Check the internal temperature of the chicken for doneness. Temperature reading should be 180* or above. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
