Delightful Pineapple Berry Smoothie

I’m a big fan of making and drinking smoothies.  It’s one way I can easily add fruit to my morning meal.  My Delightful Pineapple Berry Smoothie tastes delicious and is good for you.  Fruits have lots of nutritious vitamin C in them along with potassium and fiber.  They also are a source of antioxidants.  You can tell that berries are rich in nutrients by their rainbow colors of purple, red,  and green.  This smoothie is made with milk and yogurt which is a great source of protein, calcium and Vitamin D, both good for your teeth and bones.  You can use fresh berries or frozen berries for this drink.  I use a blender to mix this drink, it makes it smooth and creamy.

  • Using a blender - add milk, yogurt and frozen berries to plastic container. Blend or whip on high for 2 minutes. Serve chilled in tall glasses.
