Spicy Guacamole Dip

Yields: 4 Servings Difficulty: Easy Prep Time: 5 Mins

Whenever company comes to visit I like to serve some tasty snacks.  One of my favorite snacks to serve my guests is my homemade Spicy Guacamole Dip.  I also serve some crunchy tortilla chips on the side.  I use fresh, ripe avocados for this dish.  When you purchase your avocados you can ripen them on your countertop for 2-3 days and wait until they feel slightly soft and the skin turns dark.   Avocados are one of those healthy fats containing Omega fatty acids which are heart healthy.  Avocados also contain Vitamin C and some fiber.  To open the avocados use a sharp knife and hold the knife against the top corner.  Press down and then spin the knife cutting through the outer shell.  Pull the avocado apart and remove the large seed.  Use a spoon to scoop out the soft flesh into your bowl.  Now you are all set to make your dip.
