Crockpot Pork Chops with Sauerkraut and Apples

Difficulty: Easy Cook Time: 8 Hr

I enjoy using my CrockPot in the winter months when the weather outside is chilly and cold.  Since December is a busy holiday month filled with shopping, wrapping and preparations I can make this dish in the morning.  My Crockpot Pork Chops with Sauerkraut and Apples is a one pot meal that goes well with some applesauce and a side salad.  I use boneless pork chops  so I don’t need to worry about picking out the bones.  In addition to the pork I add a can of sauerkraut, small golden potatoes and a Honeycrisp apple.  I season this dish with some brown sugar and maple syrup to offset the tartness of the kraut.  Cook this recipe on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.  Happy Cooking!
