It’s Valentine’s Day and one of my favorite chocolate treats are my Chocolate Covered Strawberries. You’ll need some big, juicy fresh strawberries for this dish. The chocolate dip is made using either dark melting chocolate or dark chocolate chips. Once I dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate I let them dry on foil for 10 minutes. Then, I melt the white chocolate and give the berries another dip. Finally, I give them a quick dip in some colorful sprinkles. The chocolate covered strawberries will be ready to eat and enjoy in about 15 minutes. Keep the berries stored in your refrigerator. Happy Cooking!

- Rinse out top pan of double boiler and turn heat back onto medium in pot. Add white melting chocolate or chips into top of double boiler pan with 1 T oil. Stir until melted with spatula. Remove pan from heat and pour melted chocolate into small heat proof bowl. Then, quickly dip berry into sprinkles and place on foil to cool.
